Question marks in Quick

I believe the question marks indicate that you have a null value in your field.
We have experienced the same sort of problem and have found the above to be true.

Hello,
We are getting question marks filling fields on a screen in Quick (HP3000,
PH7.29C8). I just got dragged into this problem (it 'just started
happening') and figured I'd look in the PH Qdesign manual to see what
conditions may cause this. I can't find a mention of it anywhere (though it
may simply be well hidden). So...what causes questions marks? (Just the
quick answer (no pun!) - like cross hatches mean data exception).
