Dictionary Question ??

Almost everything gets compiled in except descriptions. What also doesn't is
the file/database open name and logon information. This means that if you're
using PH application security, you can add or change logonids and as long as
you don't add, delete, or rearrange ASCs you don't have to recompile
screens, runs, and reports. As for the file/database information, it means
that you can change the open name and you don't have to recompile screens,
runs, and reports. Of course it's usually easier just to use a file
equation.

What specifically were you interested in?

Subject: Dictionary Question ??

Hi All :)
Calling all Dictionary Guru's.... we are on 8.19.xx on MPE/iX 5.5 (with
all patches)

Just what gets compiled into screen program's objects and what is
referenced on the fly from the dictionary?

Thanks,
Art "Wondering again! hehe" Bahrs
