PH License Server (FLEXlm/VMS)

Historically, (PH710??) there was a bug in the FLEXlm software. When running
more then 50 users the process just stops.
The only solution was a demo key, provided by our account manager.
Not sure about FLEXlm in PH7.2

If you can convince your account manager about the importance, he might sent
you a demo key too.
The only disadvanyage is that it's only valid for 3 months.

Kindest regards,

Our system manager is in the process of evaluating the upgrade of OpenVMS
from v6.2 to v7.2. At this point he would prefer to not bring up DECnet on
it, and the only thing requiring it is the PH license server FLEXlm.

So the questions are:

- is there any way to run PH on VMS 7.x without DECnet? (we will be TCP/IP
only)

- is there any plan to move the license to the VMS license utility?

- I recall some discussion on problems with DECnetPlus (phase 5), is this
still the case or will FLEXlm run with it.
