Powerhouse Analst/Programmer Wanted

Having obtained my current position from a posting to this list, I feel
eminently qualified to comment.  I have nothing of relevance to say...  but
if I did, I would be well qualified to say it. 

If a recruiter had current openings, and wanted to post a link to their web
site, I would not object.  Of course that would only apply to those
recruiters that deal fairly with both the client and the consultant, do not
engage in the practice of placing as many bodies .....

I would suggest that an individual or company who is looking to hire a PH
programmer directly should use the list.  
A recruiting firm that is just looking for warm bodies should not use the
list.
A firm offer for a position that needs to be filled is one thing, searching
for leads is quite another.

I too agree that seeing these types of 'ads' is a good thing.  The idea of
heading out to places I've never been to stirs the imagination.  As soon as
my daughter is out of High School - who knows.  It is a question of balance
though.  I don't think we want the List to be a bulletin board for
recruiters
either.  So where's the fine line?  I'm not sure myself.
