I assumed you were doing something like:

>report some_field
>go
and getting 2 records when one was expected. It's been awhile since the
original post so I can't remember if your Quiz example is this simple. If it
is, then what is causing Quiz to do anything other than a serial read of the
dataset? A serial read should not be affected by third party indexing (TPI)
such as Superdex, screwed up or otherwise. Are you using "choose" in the
Quiz, thereby forcing a keyed read? Is there a "select" on the key item in
the dictionary?
I'd still explore the possibilty of stray file equates as per Matt
Oh-not-zero's more detailed suggestions. Try a :listeq INSIDE Quiz.
Please let us know the final outcome.
