It should...if you deploy the Axiant application to a Windows NT/2000 server
running Citrix MetaFrame, and you install the Citrix MetaFrame client for
MacOS on the "real" Mac client machines. (We have a large customer in the UK
using Citrix WinFrame, the predecessor to MetaFrame, to enable users on
Windows 3.11 PCs to access 32-bit Axiant applications using the WinFrame
client for 16-bit Windows.)
Of course, since PowerHouse Web uses a native HTML user interface these
applications can be accessed by a Web browser running on anything, Windows,
Mac, UNIX, OpenVMS, etc. But, as I mentioned earlier, PHWeb isn't intended
for redeployment of existing terminal-based PowerHouse applications (since
they often rely on the state-driven nature of a permanently connected
client), but its great for adding new Web facilities to existing
applications using your existing servers, data and development skills.
Best regards,
Conrad

HI all,
There has been some talk in the Migrating from PH to Java / RDBMS thread
about how good Axiant 3.0 is.
Is it so good that the client software will run on a Mac?
Mike
