I can't believe that I haven't tried this before, but it must be the case.
I want to use a QUIZ statement
'CHOOSE A-DATE SYSDATE'
where A-DATE is a key to the IMAGE detail data set residing on our HP3000 and
receive this error message.
*E* Expected: @ . GENERIC NOGENERIC PARM SYSTEMVALUE , ( <number>
<eol>
If I change it to
'CHOOSE A-DATE 19990907', all is well.
If I change it to
'SELECT IF A-DATE = SYSDATE', all is well (except that it does a serial read on
the file.
I want to run this daily without having to 'seed' the command file with the date
every time.
I'm guessing that this is trivial for someone.
Help, please and Thanks In Advance.
