If it's anything like a similar message we've seen with some of our clients using non-Powerhouse products, I think you need to check a couple of kernel (spelling?) parameters: MAXFILES and NFILES. I'm not a UNIX System Administrator, so I may not have the names exactly right, but the way it was explained to us was that these control the maximum number of files that may be open at one time system-wide and the maximum number of files that a specific UNIX user ID is permitted to have open at one time. IIRC, the latter value, and this was our problem, restricts concurrent sessions for the same ID.
