AS/400 and dictionary problem

Thanks for the feedback Michael.

I have logged a call with Cognos and they have informed me that it is a
logged bug with a previous version of Powerhouse. I believe 6.07.D (we are
on 6.07.F). Their suggestion was (they say it is very rare and cannot be
duplicated) we inform all users to properly log off via the PH menus before
they close their teminal emulation program or power down. By not exiting
the PH screens properly there is potential for the PHD to not 'close'
properly. We have a tool that logs who does not log out of their screens
properly so we are going to ask all users to log out completely before
killing their terminal app. Hopefully this will reduce the chances of this
happening again.

It's been a while since I've been on an AS/400 but this kind of rings a
bell.
There could be a problem with someone being in PDL (which is still pointing
to
the dictionary) at that time. It should/could be easy to test. Other than
that
I have no idea.
