Cognos license daemon hung

There is a known problem where the license daemon dies with over 50 users.
PH710F4 (or the license software of this version) should fix this problem.

If this is not an option, you could ask Cognos Support for a demo key. With
this key you do not need to start the license manager and therefor it will
not die.

BTW I did receive all the replies on Chris' questions, but not his original
question. Anyone one why?

Our environment is PH 710f2, Alpha VMS 7.1

We have a similar problem sporadically. Cognos has been unable to help us.
What we do is shutdown and restart the License Daemon. It only happens
every few months, so we don't worry about it too much.
