7.29C8 and 8.19

Roshan:

Are you using PDL with 7.29C8?  If you are still using QDD then you will
have to convert to PDL which is usually a straight forward task.

I don't recall any syntax changes at all for a move from 7.29C8 to 8.19.

Issues: We had one big issue but if you are currently running under 7.29 I
don't see how it will affect you.  If your jobs do not currently call QUIZ
and QTP with the COGNOS UDC's you will need to update all your jobs to do
so.  Our starting point was 7.09 and all our jobs were using the RUN
QUIZ.CURRENT.COGNOS syntax. 

I assume that you have your century change date issues under control.

a) How much Effort is there upgrading from 7.29C8 & 8.19  ( on HP3K )

b) Are there a lot of syntax changes ?

c) Any major Issues ? Any precautions to be taken ?
