<<on soapbox>>

As a relatively new developer to PowerHouse (about 3 years) I was happy to
learn that there was this forum to ask questions. I knew that the answers
wouldn't be spoon-fed to me and that was fine. All I was looking for was a
push in the right direction.

When I read the RT*M thread that started this conversation, I was shocked.
How many of us don't know how to spell a word and ask someone else in the
office? The response one normal gets is the correct spelling. If the
spelling isn't known, then a point of reference is given so that one can
research it further. The idea that someone would just tell me to just look
it up in the dictionary is absurd! Have you ever tried to look something
up in the dictionary that you had no clue how to spell?

This list main purpose is to pass information from those who know to those
that don't know. If you start qualify the types of questions that can be
asked, then people will stop asking. Over time, you will have to many
"chiefs" and not enough "indians".
