ODBC and Interbase Problem

Hi John,

I had a look on the Interbase web site, and found a similar problem logged
in their knowledgebase.  I think the cause of the problem may be that your
Interbase Client is v5.5, and your server version on the Alpha is v3.3.  You
could probably get it to work by upgrading the Alpha to v4.0, but I don't
know how feasible that would be for you.

		He is able to connect using Loopback however if he tries on
the client side
		(Interbase Server Manager) he gets the following error

		In DB Connection he gets ... "An Interbase error has occured
while
		attaching. Error - Connection rejected by remote interface."

		Wisock is fine. The host and service tests pass fine.
		He has a '+' in the first line of the host.equiv file and in
the
		host.service he has the local.

		Has anyone crossed this path? Any possible solutions?
