Running QTP from QUICK

Why ? Quick can do editing: are you sure that calling QTP is the best way to
achieve your goal ? You can have silent fields following a group of fields to
do editing based on more than one field, or you can do similar editing in
the preupdate procedure. Simple field validation can of course be done by field
statement clauses without any procedural code at all.
If you must use QTP, can you pass the new value back for updating in Quick ?
Here in VMS I could use a job logical and setsystemval/getsystemval to pass the
value back from QTP to Quick, and have Quick make the change on screen.
Don't know what your environment is or whether it has a comparable facility.
