We do the same: not too bad on VMS.
Our standard just requires:
1. related sources to have the same name
2. all compiled module names start with the source name
3. all compilations are error free, and as warning free as possible.
I'd dearly love Powerhouse status values to make this easier:
some warnings are serious, others are trivial & unavoidable.
4. minimal procedure rewriting in Qdesign.
It's absolutely vital to be able to do a batch compile, since Cognos tend to
make us recompile everything at most releases.
