Source Control

I saw some references to source control packages recently.  We are working
on a Vax environment and are looking at implementing some source code
control system.  Our language of choice is PowerHouse but the package would
have to be adaptable to other languages such as Cobol and Gembase.

Is there a source control package of choice for the Vax and PowerHouse
environments?  Your comments for pros and cons will be greatly appreciated.
