Null Date Separator in pre-710G.

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to make Quick to display a date value on screen
without the SEPARATOR, in pre-710G versions? We want to re-claim the
two spaces occupied by the SEPARATOR to display the format "DDMMMYYYY"
in the same space of "DD-MMM-YY".

For example, display "31AUG1998" with the century and without the
SEPARATOR in the same space of "31-AUG-98".

The 710G's NULLSEPARATOR option on FIELD statement is prefect but we
cannot upgrade to 710G. 

our screens have crowded CLUSTER and it is hard, very hard to find
free spaces.
