Another way of doing it is to create a object library file and then
transfer the object library file.
Look at online help for Create/Lib command and LIB/extract

Subject: FTP Quick screens under VMS
----------------------------------------------------
Has anyone tried or successfully FTPed compiled VMS Quick screens. I need
to
be able to FTP / Email Bug fixes (Enhancements) to our customers.
Problem is Quiz & Qtp are at block size 512 , Quick is 256. It seems that
512 is the setting for FTP. The backup utility will not go down as low as
512. I've managed to create a backup file (block size 2048) and then
using
Qtp transfer this into a binary file block size 512. This works but is
very
slow and awkward.
Please Help.
