FTP Quick screens under VMS

I've not done it, but if ftp can't be correctly configured, you could try zip
(off the freeware disk), or mend the files after transmission (see "$ set
fil/attr..." if you're on a recent-ish VMS version, or Joe Meadows' file
utility (also free) if you're back at V5.5 or thereabouts.

I'd go for zip, since compression would be a handy bonus.
