Dear all,

Can I echo this problem - we have had similar problems FTPing portable
subfiles used for PowerPlay, slightly different in that the block size
of our subfiles is larger than 512 and ftp keeps squashing them. If
anyone is aware of a solution to this I would also be very interested!

Cheers,

Has anyone tried or successfully FTPed compiled VMS Quick
screens. I need to
be able to FTP / Email Bug fixes (Enhancements) to our
customers.

Problem is Quiz & Qtp are at block size 512 , Quick is 256. It
seems that
512 is the setting for FTP. The backup utility will not go down
as low as
	512. I've managed to create a backup file (block size 2048) and
then using
Qtp transfer this into a binary file block size 512. This works
but is very
	slow and awkward.

	Please Help.
