ITOQ Replacement

Hi Tracy,

As Dave has pointed out it is possible to use QSHOW to generate PDL once you
have compiled the QDD into a QSCHEMAC dictionary. However, there are a
couple of alternatives.

First, recent versions of PowerHouse on MPE/iX have shipped with a utility
called QDDTOPDL. You should find this in the group where PowerHouse has been
installed. As its name suggests, it can be used to convert QDD source into
PDL source.

Additionally, Architect has the ability to import data definitions directly
from the IMAGE root file. Once inside Architect these definitions (which,
like ITOQ, are just the raw physical data definitions) can be enhanced with
all of the usual ELEMENT attributes, and the required PDL generated and
compiled from within the Architect environment.
