John,
I tried your suggestion, but just can't seem to get it right. When the
key breaks and
it has printed an odd number of pages for the previous key, everything
is fine--it
skips the backside of the current sheet of paper and starts printing the
current key
on a new sheet of paper. However, when the key breaks and it has
printed an
even number of pages for the previous key, it gets a new sheet of paper,
skips
side 1 and starts printing the current key on side 2.
Here's my code:
DEFINE C1 INTEGER SIZE 2 = 27
DEFINE S1 CHAR*2 = CHARACTERS(C1)
DEFINE ESC CHAR*1 = S1[2:1]
DEFINE P CHAR*5 = ESC + "&alG"
SORT ON key field
REPORT keyfield and other data
HEADING AT keyfield SKIP PAGE
FOOTING AT keyfield P SKIP PAGE
I've also tried 'FOOTING AT keyfield P' without the SKIP PAGE and the
opposite
happens. If it printed an odd number of pages for the previous key, it
skips the
backside of the current sheet of paper and the front side of the next
sheet of
paper. If it printed an even number of pages for the previous key, it
works just
fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
