e-commerce and PowerHouse Web

I think I should correct the impression that I was using the article to show
how backward Australia is on e-commerce. Nothing could be further from the
truth. The article was used simply as an example of the extent of coverage
e-commerce is getting here. I believe that Australia's great Telecommunications
infrastructure and comparatively high level of education of the workforce gives
this country a competitive advantage in this field. I have a number of friends
in the industry (working for various companies), who are busily building
various e-commerce applications. The tools that are used are mostly C++ and
some Java. Would it not be nice to finally be able to use a 4GL like Powerhouse
to build these applications faster.
