Cognos TSC have assured me that on OpenVMS version 7.10.G (imminent) has full
Y2K support, and V8 has (additionally) more Axiant & database stuff that
doesn't interest me. So I'll be going with 7.10.G for the time being.
As others have said, I can't think of *anyone* who's *never* released a buggy
base release, so I prefer to play safe, particularly as there's no benefit
(AFAIK) for my configuration in going to V8. If I needed/wanted the stuff in
V8, I'd consider it a bit harder.
