We availed ourselves of the free offer, and got quite a good comprehensive
report: reassuringly telling us pretty much what we'd already assessed for
ourselves, so we didn't feel the need to buy the full service.
I'd recommend people to look at it though.

We experienced slight increases in resource usage, but nothing much. At the
same time, we upgraded DECforms, and *that* doubled its memory usage, which was
painful, and may have masked the Powerhouse increase.

The sysgen parameter CHANNELCNT (number of channels) defaults to 256. Every
file requires a channel, so there's no point making fillm > channelcnt
(whatever channelcnt is on your system). I think both channelcnt & fillm use
memory. I don't think astlm costs anything, it just permits use of resources.
