ODBC drivers for RMS files on VMS

Hi all,

I am investigating the availability / reliability / price of ODBC drivers for
RMS files on VMS. There appear to be several vendors who supply those, however
it appears the cost for a small number of licenses is quite prohibitive, for
example something like A$7,000.00 for a 5 user license. There was also talk of
some vendors working with Cognos to create a parser that would convert a
Powerhouse dictionary in PDL format into an ODBC driver dictionary
automatically.

Any advice on the above issues would be greatly appreciated.
