About all I can say at this time is stay tuned. The 4GL Products Group
is very excited about PowerHouse Web. We're expecting it to go to field
test within the next month. We're demoing it at HP World in San Diego in
early August.

As for the PowerHouse name, I put a question to you all. If you hadn't
heard that PowerHouse existed and Cognos announced their new Web
application development tool as PowerHouse Web and said NOTHING about
the fact that it's been around for 20 years, what would you think. My
point is that although we live and breath PowerHouse, it's unknown to
most Web developers and even lots of our BI customers. So unless we
advertise it as old, no one else knows. 

I showed PH Web to a Web developer and a few of our BI customers at our
recent user conference and the reaction was the same - cool, neat,
slick. After I did the old SCREEN - FILE - GENERATE - BUILD, one fellow
wanted to know whether we generated Java or C++. Then he wanted to know
where he coded his database access.

Anyone who says that PowerHouse is dead doesn't understand how adaptable
the QUICK engine is. I expect to be here for a fair while yet.
