For years we compiled on a VAX and ran pruduction on an Alpha with no
difficulty. The OVMS versions were not always the same, but the PH
versions always were, first 620E, then 710F3.
This was done due to licensing costs; it was much cheaper to license
development on the anemic MicroVAX than on the Alpha.
