Arthur & Matt,

The *4I/*4E and *4D/*4E are markers used by CMS (code management program on VMS) to indicate that blocks of code were inserted and deleted for generation 4 of the program.  Normally, when you retrieve a program from CMS, it excludes these markers.  The file!
 you are looking at is the reference copy CMS maintains.

Matt, you fool, have a look at the syntax of date function in the QTP manual, it does
accept 2 parameters.

Still... not really sure what *4I does, looks like some sort of a comment.
