Date Display.

Recently we have modified date item data in an Image database to include the century.

This data is accessed from COBOL programs as well as Powerhouse.

Before we changed the data, Powerhouse screens (QUICK729C) displayed date fields that had not had a value assigned to them as : " / / ".

After the data change these items are displayed as: " / /1900" . I gather the default century is now being used for display.

In both cases if the field in the database has a value of 0 this does not happen.

Can anyone explain why this is so? We have a proposed workaround but would like to understand why Powerhouse is treating the "null" value and the "0" value differently.

Cheers,
Rod.
