We're proud to announce that Webstamp 0.6.0 has been released. "make
upgrade" in a webstamp ROOTDIR (top level site directory) near you.

This release is the first time we release a version we call "stable".
This is also the first release to use the stable/development version
numbering scheme. If you're familiar with the Linux kernel version
numbering scheme, Webstamp from 0.6.0 and above, uses that scheme.

Version numbers generally follow the scheme <major>.<minor>.<patch>
Versions where the <minor> part is odd are considered
development/unstable versions. Versions where the <minor> part is
non-odd (even or zero) are considered stable versions. No new features
will be added to a stable version, except under special circumstances,
as the stable version will only get bug fixes with each <patch> release.

Development on 0.7.x is planned to start shortly.

Planned for the 0.7.x development cycle:
 - Complete rework of the tarball directory structure
 - Creation of "webstamp" command to replace the current "make
<command>" mechanism
 - Creation of a webstamp Debian package
 - Addition of the idea of a SYSLIBS, etc.
 - On system webstamp site registration for upgrade need
tracking/notification, maybe even automatic upgrades
 - Rework of the "make webify" process. Might even reduce forked
process count and stuff... :)
 - Documentation
 - Tutorial
 - Other cool stuff I either can't remember, haven't thought of or
haven't been told about yet
 - Can we get mod_python involved somehow? :) :) :)
