When we looked at porting our job scheduling product (Job Assistance) from HPUX to Linux we discovered that Linux did not have an equivalent to the HPUX function that reports on whether a specified process is present. Linux implemented the process tree as some kind of bizarre directory structure.

Subject: Moving Powerhouse from Unix to Linux
Hi,
We are moving Powerhouse from Unix to Linux, did anybody has done it? and if so do you have any recommendation, any issue that we should be looking for?
We use Powerhouse 8.43G and Oracle 12c
Can subfiles be transferred from one system to another?
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Krikor
