Hi Bob,

My immediate reaction was MySql and Access, however I always wanted Powerhouse to be open but I never asked because I knew nothing would happen, maybe now it’s time to ask.

What I mean by open is the following; In most if not all sites Powerhouse applications are interfaced with other ERP or in house applications, and usually interfacing them together is done through message broker, specific format files transfer, and mainly delimited files (Comma or other character) and XML files.

My question is why Powerhouse is not able to read or create delimited or XML files. It can be done programmatically but it is a tedious and cumbersome process if anyone else has done it, however if it’s done easily it can catapult Powerhouse from 20 to 21 century tool and open new horizons for  it’s use such as a powerful  ETL tool and will extend the life of existing Powerhouse applications.

Thanks,
Krikor Gullekian
