OpenVMS messaging:to get non-PowerHouse messages try BROADCAST=default.

Hi All:

If people at leaving QUICK open them I suggest setting the timeout parameter in QKGO.


Most people prefer the 'deferred' option therefore PowerHouse designers made it the default.
So the Powerhouse default for BROADCAST is 'deferred'. Therefore you must set BROADCAST to 'default' if you want the OpenVMS default. 
They will need to refresh their screen after receiving a message usually <control-G> does this.
