Hello Ken,
Your "Warning 200" should set a HPFCOPYERR = 200 - at least it does on
the MPE/iX 7.5 machine here.
Mange hilsner / With kind regards

Subject: Trapping an FCOPY error in MPE
Hello all,
Once again, our users uploaded a file incorrectly and once again a job let
the process go right on thru until a major error occurred.
The process is this;
QTP - create empty subfiles
FCOPY the uploaded file overtop of the subfile
QTP - run the remainder of the job.
The problem is this error came up and it just didn't care:
:FCOPY FROM=*HDRFILE;TO=ECPF01AP.SUB
HEWLETT-PACKARD 31900A.05.04 FILE COPIER TUE, NOV 27, 2012, 6:26 AM
(C) HEWLETT-PACKARD CO. 1999
*200*
WARNING: FROMFILE RECSIZE IS 1444 BYTES, TOFILE RECSIZE IS 1300 BYTES.
EOF FOUND IN FROMFILE AFTER RECORD 1053
1054 RECORDS PROCESSED *** 0 ERRORS
END OF SUBSYSTEM
:showvar CIERROR
CIERROR = 0
Anyone have any ideas how to make this bullet proof?
