lock file created in Powerhouse 8.43F

All,

Currently our application makes use of Powerhouse version  8.43D. Now
software will be upgraded to Powerhouse version 8.43F. The platform is Suse
Linux.

In new version, a lock file (.lck) gets  created whenever any file
accessed. This is preventing usage of application by multiple users
concurrently.

Can creation of lock file be prevented to allow multiple users access the
same file at a time. Please suggest.

The suggestion will greatly help in resolving major issue.
