Peter, I did this on windows about 5 years ago.
Here is part of my start up script for QTP:
set SUBFILES=%LOCATION%\subfiles
.
set PHTEMP=%SUBFILES%
set PHTEMPKEEP=%SUBFILES%
call %PH_USR%\qtp procloc=%SRC% dict=%PHDICT%
cc={%DATABASE%,%2,%PH_VERSION%,%APPLICATION%,%CLIENTID%}
subdict={SEARCH,NODELAY}
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Bulk] Is there an 8.40.G equivalent to PHTEMPKEEP?
_____
Hi all:
I would like keep the subfiles that I create while compiling QTP and
QUIZ.
My understanding is if I set PHTEMPKEEP my subfiles should be saved in
the directory pointed to by
PHTEMP.
Define/job PHTEMP <temp location>
PHTEMPKEEP == 1
QTP
> .
> Subfile ...
>Build
>Exit
Dir PHTEMP:
No files
Regards,
Peter
