Problem with PHDPDL

PHD01 is one of the PHD RMS ISAM files. So is that file where it's
supposed to be? There are 4 files, PHD00 through PHD03. Anothr
possibility, although I haven't verified this, is that it's an old PHD.
Has this dictionary worked before?

That stuff is all okay. The program starts running, but is unable to open
file PHD01, whatever that is.

Cognoids, any ideas? I was able to run this several months ago, so maybe
our system people moved a file that’s needed.

Check the symbol for phdpdl, then verify that nothing has
happened to file behind the symbol...

$ show sym phdpdl
  PHDPDL == "$PH_LOCATION:PHDPDLA840D1"

$ dir PH_LOCATION:PHDPDLA840D1

Directory PATH$POWERHOUSE:[840D1.PH_COMMON]

PHDPDLA840D1.EXE;141

Total of 1 file.

You might also want to run a dir/sec on the file if it's there
to verify that you have execute access rights to it...

This is not a problem with a pdl source file, it’s with the PHDPDL
dictionary utility. I can’t even start it.

If you need to recreate the PDL, you can always extract it from the
working dictionary

In QSHOW
SET LANG PDL
GENERATE ALL

It creates a file called QSHOGEN.PDL

Uh oh, what is most likely to be causing this?
IA_RDW_DEV>> phdpdl
Error occurred during open of file PHD01
We haven’t had any troubles using the dictionary. Are there any
alternatives, short of a ton of typing?
