We are working on the next release. As Ken points out, I can't say when it 
will be released, nor can I talk about the contents except in very general 
terms. It will be similar to F, Bug fixes, conformance, and a few 
enhancements. These are not just IBM policies, they were also Cognos 
policies due to revenue recognition rules.

Please keep in mind that we do not test against beta software and we do 
have a cut off based on our freeze date as to when we can consider 
supporting new versions of operating systems and relational databases. As 
always, once we issue a release, we go back and attempt to certify on any 
recently released versions of operating systems and relational databases.

Even if someone did know when it was being released, IBM confidentiality 
would restrict them from saying anything until an official release date 
was published.
 
If we go by past years, it should be close to pre-release around now….I 
think the production releases were in the spring if I remember correctly.
