If you are planning on going to Unix or even Linux with your powerhouse app.
You should think about using/learning VIM instead.

It is based on Vi which is the Unix default editor and it supports Syntax
checking/coloring/etc.

And it's free.

  Hi All:
 
     I agree with Roger. My favorite editor is textpad because it can do a
PowerHouse
     syntax check. However, some organizations may not want you keep local
copies
     of source code. 
 
     I understand that there is a EDT DOS clone called ED-NT so in theory
EDT could be your 
     standard for all OSes because you are doing your editing on your PC.
