It depends on your terminal emulation software.
If you are using Attachmate Reflections (this is what I use), then you can go to Setup then Keyboard Map to find ways to map VT Keyboard keys to your PC keyboard.
If you are using a generic telnet session, then as suggested in another response, then you are stuck with rudimentary solutions. Try <CTRL-B> to recall your last command prompt and then edit the line to suit your needs.
Something else?  I cannot help you.

Gentle Listers:

Working from home and all I got is this laptop- no keyboard with a PF1 key AKA "Gold" so I'm swimming around in 3000 line Quick programs without any Find, Learn, multiple Buffers, etc..for EVE EDitor....

Can anyone, please, tell me how to simulate this on a typical laptop? There must be some combo of Esc and other stuff so I can use F8=PF1 for Gold so I can enter EVE commands?
