Hi Jerome:

    Is your client staying with PowerHouse e.g. 8.41.E.
    You could generate the PDL in Qshow 7.10 and copy it to your 
    Windows box where you could load it and generate the SQL.
    
    You will most likely want to insert the phrase 
     NONCLUSTERED in the CREATE INDEX statements.

    PowerHouse programmers have often used scaled binaries.
    e.g. Element X input scale 2 output scale 0 picture " ^,^^^,^^^.^^"  default datatype integer size 4
    When I was doing this sort of thing I used MS SQL Server's
    Decimal columns because it was the only database scalable datatype available to me.
    I did this so that Impromptu would show the correct value..

    Life with MS SQL Server is easier if every table has a primary key.

Does any of you know if there's any utility to 'convert' a Powerhouse 7 dictionary (RMS files) to SQL record structures (includes key's etc) to use in SQL Server (2005/2008)?
