Hi Richard:
I would setpow to 7.10 and in QSHOW 7.10 general the PDL.
I don't think any of the 840 versions recognize the old dictionary.

I haven't use PDL is quite some time, but the last century, er I mean, time I tried it, it worked fine. Now I'm having trouble even getting rolling.
For example:
IA_CYP_DEV>> dir *.phd
Directory DEVAPP:[IA2_DEV.EXE.CYP]
IA00.PHD;7 9/144 21-JAN-2008 12:51:47.84 [IA,IA_MASTER]
(,,,RE)
IA01.PHD;7 4848/4848 21-JAN-2008 12:51:52.73 [IA,IA_MASTER]
(,,,RE)
IA02.PHD;7 672/672 21-JAN-2008 12:51:56.00 [IA,IA_MASTER]
(,,,RE)
IA03.PHD;7 2880/2880 21-JAN-2008 12:51:59.37 [IA,IA_MASTER]
(,,,RE)
Total of 4 files, 8409/8544 blocks.
IA_CYP_DEV>> pdl
P D L (PowerHouse 8.40.E)
> set dictionary ia
*E* File IA could not be found.
> set dictionary DEVAPP:[IA2_DEV.EXE.CYP]ia
*E* File DEVAPP:[IA2_DEV.EXE.CYP]IA could not be found.
