error linking files

First, I'd try fully specifying the linkage

Access *subpofil alias subpofil &
                link spo of subpofil &
                to po of pofil &
                link spoline of subpofil &
                to poline of pofil alias pofil2.

Trying to link  and I use this cmd and get this error

ACC *SUBPOFIL LINK SPO TO PO OF POFIL &
 LINK SPOLINE TO POLINE OF POFIL ALIAS POFIL2

Can't establish linkage to POFIL2



What am I doing wrong - do I need a special file equate?
