The first thing I would do is add a DISPLAY “this is the new program” to the QTP program to make 100% sure you are running the compiled version you think you are.

Check the job a see if the string is in it.

More often than not I was compiling the wrong source, or compiling into the wrong group on the HP.

Hi Guys,

Hoping you can help me.

I have a piece of compiled QTP which run's within a job on a HP3000 and it errors with a 'Record has changed since you found it' error. I have run the QTP outside of the job and get the same error, but if I run the uncompiled code it completes without a problem. I have recompiled the source to ensure that the version in the job was compiled using the same source ( I hope this makes sense and doesn't get confusing) and reran getting the same error. So basically, compiled version errors, uncompiled completes successfully

Any ideas ?
