Powerhouse MPE/iX to UNIX conversion

Powerhouse itself tends to be somewhat easier to migrate than most languages
but there are still issues. Many of the issues relate to differences in
data sources (IMAGE/Eloquence versus RDBMS, KSAM versus CISAM, etc.) and
scripting languages (JCL, command files, UDC's), and issues related to
surround code (COBOL, SPL,FORTRAN) and how you want to handle those.
Here is a whitepaper I wrote on the subject a few years ago.

Subject:
Hi All,
Is anyone aware of a company in the UK that offers a powerhouse conversion
service.
The company I work with are thinking of moving from HP3000's(MPEX) to
HP9000's(UNIX).
Is there much difference between the source code syntax on both machines
Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
Ron
