Holiday? Vacation?

Sorry, John,
 
Just that some of us toil away on other operating systems and just
really don't have much light to shed on the situation. Especially since
the "summer" that we've had up here north of 54 has had so little
sunlight that we're hoarding all of the light we can!
 
I do remember that we had consultants working on some stuff for us in
93/94 and I remember them talking about how difficult (non-intuitive) it
was to interface 3GL routines to Powerhouse (Quick).  I think they were
using either COBOL or C, but am unsure which.
 
Speaking of north, what's really fun is to go on a cruise with people
from San Francisco and/or Florida ... you can tell them ANYTHING about a
Canadian winter and they'll believe it, eh!
(Sadly, the stories that are true are spectacular enough that you really
don't have to embellish things at all).
