Powerhouse Developer 

This is an exciting opportunity to join CGI, a world-class IT company, for a
permanent position in Victoria. We are seeking experienced IT Professionals
with expertise in Powerhouse.

Working closely with the business Analyst and team members to provide
reliable and responsive customer service and support 
Delivering assigned tasks on time and meeting requirements,
Analyzing functional specifications and business requirements, for new and
modifications to existing applications and providing work estimates,
Writing quality technical specifications
Coding, writing unit test plans and executing unit testing,
Supporting business analyst testing and UAT as required,
Following processes, controls and standards throughout the development
cycle,
Demonstrating effective communication verbally and in written form both
internally and client-facing
Accurately track time for all billable and non-billable activities and in
the cases of billable activities and insure that the activity has been
approved in writing by the client,
Ensure all tasks meet and follow the ISO9001 and Section 5900 Audit
requirements.

Mandatory Skills:

3-5 years of Powerhouse development experience
3-5 years of OpenVMS experience
2-3 years of working in an OracleRDB environment
Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a large client system

Additional "nice to have skills" would include: 

Prior experience with UNIX, MS suite of products
Prior experience with Powerhouse Web
Prior experience in a maintenance/ production support environment
