Powerhouse and Blobs Question

Hi

 

I'm not a Powerhouse user, but I'm trying to find some information with
regards to blob handling in Powerhouse.   We're handling a support case,
and are attempting to understand whether the problem is on the database
side, or in the Powerhouse side of things.    

 

The application writes three free text fields into an ASE database, into
a 5 column structure.   The three fields are converted to blobs, and are
then inserted into the table.   For some reason, it seems that in
certain cases, the word "Cognos" is written into the blob randomly in
certain places.   Has anyone run into this before?
