Limiting size (Width) of Actionbar

I don't believe so, unless someone has a trick/technique/workaround. From
the QDESIGN book ACTIONMENU statement:

The Action bar always extends across the entire terminal window. Each
ACTIONMENU
statement adds a new label that extends across the screen from left to
right. One blank precedes
and follows each label.

You may be able to add some dummy ACTIONMENU items with empty labels or
some such thing.

Limiting size (Width) of Actionbar

Listservers:

Do we have any means, published or not, to limit the width of the
Actionbar when painting a screen? e.g. we got a subscreen within a larger
screen and want the actionbar to remain within the confines of the 2nd
painted screen?

Many thanks!

Cheers!
